Miguel Angel Jimenez's 66 Got Twitter Atwitter Again

With his magnificent 6-under-par 66, Miguel Angel Jimenez sent amateur comedians to their smartphones and keyboards to express all the jokes and shout-outs they could muster. It wasn’t but two days ago that we went through a similar drill with the most interesting golfer in the world, but that 66 stands as the lowest round of the week.

That’s also tied for the lowest round ever by a 50-something in the Masters, matching marks set by Ben Hogan and Fred Couples. It sent the Spaniard into the clubhouse at 3-under overall and four shots behind 36-hole leader Bubba Watson. Jimenez carded seven birdies and bogey, and you can watch the highlights here.
