Players Impressed By Pristine Muirfield Village
This week the PGA Tour is in Ohio at the house that Jack built for one of the tour’s marquee, non-major events. The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village pairs one of the best kept courses with one of the season’s strongest fields, and usually provides one of the most exciting tournaments of the year. Thanks to the conditions and the event’s host, players just love showing up at Muirfield Village.
On Wednesday, players participated in practice rounds and the pro-am, taking plenty of time out to post their experiences to social media.

“Seinfeld” Star Shows Off His Swing
Unlike the show’s creator, Jerry Seinfeld, “Seinfeld” star John O’Hurley loves golf … and actually has a pretty solid swing:
If you watched the above video, then you recognize O’Hurley as J. Peterman, Elaine’s eccentric boss with a propensity for telling crazy, pompous stories. In case you’ve forgotten the role that made O’Hurley a star, here’s a look at some of the best of J. Peterman from the show about nothing:

Poulter’s Lawn Is A Thing Of Beauty … It Also Matches His Trousers
Ian Poulter isn’t just particular about his look or his cars; he’s also pretty particular about the way his lawn looks. Proof of that is seen below, in the form of this post from his Instagram account:
New front lawn design…. Tartan themed. Loving it. Jim does an incredible job.
What do you get for the man who has it all? A lawn-mow pattern to match his pants, apparently. Poulter loves himself some tartan. Lord have mercy on folks with epilepsy should this man ever win at Colonial or the RBC Heritage and don one of those colorful things. Anyway, nice job on the lawn, Ian. Once again, you’ve found a way to stand out.

Jimmy Fallon Gets Personalized Justin Timberlake Balls
Jimmy Fallon is a known golf fanatic. He featured golf fairly often on his previous show, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and needless to say, the skits were hilarious.
Elderly Woman Fights Off Sword-Swinging Robber with Golf Club
An 89-year old female store owner thwarted a would-be robber – who was wielding a sword as his weapon of choice – by bashing him with a golf club.
According to a report on KREM.com, Miyo Koba was pushed to the ground by her attacker when she refused to open her store’s cash register. She immediately saw a golf club nearby, grabbed it, and attempted to bludgeon the crook in his head. Read More
Out Of Bounds
Some people ought to just stick to what they’re good at. Another person who learned this lesson the hard way was rapper 50 Cent. “Fity” realized Tuesday night in Queens just how hard throwing a baseball is. Or at least, he made it look pretty hard:
Eh, it’s not the biggest exercise in futility that I’ve seen, but it was pretty bad. Also, if you ever refer to yourself as an “athlete,” please make sure you have decent form. I don’t care if you can’t throw 65 (let alone 95), but please try and make your mechanics look respectable. Or just go all in to mailing it in, otherwise you’ll end up getting made fun of like poor Curtis Jackson here.
