Welcome to the second edition of The Fringe, Back9Network's newest daily feature created to keep you up-to-date on the best stories happening in golf, social media and pop culture. In case you missed the first edition, you can find it right here.

    Rory On The Rebound

Just a day after Rory McIlroy's heartbreaking loss at the 2014 Honda Classic, the two-time major champ teed it up in the Seminole Pro Member in Juno Beach, Florida. McIlroy was among a strong field which included the four major champions of 2013 as well as notables Dustin Johnson, Lee Westwood and Ernie Els. Rickie Fowler, who was also in attendance and paired with McIlroy's group, posted following picture of the two on Instagram.

Seminole Pro Member...won't be 4 in a row for Buddy and me but still a great way to spend a Monday morning! Enjoyed it @rorymcilroyofficial, John, and Buddy! #Seminole

It's definitely nice to see Rory smiling again and I have no doubt he'll come back strong, if not stronger.

    Attack of the Drones!

Alright, so maybe they're not attacking just yet. In fact, the way this drone was just used by Callaway proves there are still so many ways we can showcase the sport we love.

Can you imagine golf coverage with drones hovering over the final group on the weekend of a big tournament? Um, yes please.

     The Golf Babies Are Back

Someone needs to set up a tournament for these PGA Tour players' kids ASAP. Yesterday, I shared a video of Ian Poulter's son showing off his skills and today, I present to you Jason Day's son, Dash.

First club request to the #TMTourTruck at Doral is in... Jason Day's requested JetSpeed driver for his 19-month year old son Dash. Custom cut down 31.5" shaft.

    In Case You Missed It

Keegan Bradley continued to show off his shoe game this past weekend at the Honda Classic. No, I'm not talking about the Cole Haan's you're sporting each day to work. Bradley's sporting some customized golf shoes with his initials and the Jordan logo brand on the back which a lot of people, including myself, want to get their hands on. Check them out here.

By now, I'm sure you've seen Ellen DeGeneres' record-breaking selfie that she tweeted during the Oscars. Well here at Back9Network, we believe the golf world has had their own share of memorable selfies, including this one featuring Ian Poulter and 50 Cent.

And there's plenty more where that came folks. Enjoy!

    Out of Bounds

Tina Fey was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and one of the best highlights from the visit involved a new segment named "Lip Flip."
