Callaway, Birdies For The Brave Get Custom Clubs To Wounded Warriors

Callaway Golf and the Birdies for the Brave Foundation are partnering this week to get custom clubs in the hands of those who sacrificed their safety to protect our freedom.

With both Birdies for the Brave and TPC Sawgrass being located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., there has always been a solid relationship between the two with a long-standing history of taking care of some of our nation's vets and their wildest golf dreams. From the aforementioned club fitting to putting lessons from current tour players and 1988 Players champ Scott McCumber, TPC Sawgrass and Birdies For the Brave have been showing veterans and wounded warriors the time of their lives around the property.

Bubba Watson Picks Up A New Sponsor

Winning the Masters certainly has its perks. Besides picking up his second major victory and vaulting to fourth in the Official World Golf Rankings, Bubba Watson is also getting new sponsor deals. He announced his latest partnership with airweave at TPC Sawgrass this week.

These things look incredibly comfortable and I, for one, want one … or five. Watson joins LPGA star Paula Creamer on the mattress topper and pillow manufacturer's roster. Oh, the perks of being a pro.

Titleist, Scotty Cameron Introduce Counterbalanced Technology To Two Favorites

Few names are as synonymous with innovation and performance in golf as Scotty Cameron. The master craftsman has been building some of the most reliable putters on the tour and around the world, and now, two of its most popular models are available with the Select Newport 2 and the GoLo 7.

The changes are aimed to help players attain a more consistent, more stable stroke. With the ban on the anchored putting stroke, this new heavier, duel balanced model should help players who struggled to make a reliable conventional stroke before the long putter became popular. Both models will be available May 30 and come with a suggested retail price of $399.

Most days in the life of Bubba Watson involve play time with his son, Caleb, chat time with his wife, Angie, practice time on the range, and TV time with SportsCenter. Other days include collecting $1.62 million checks from the Masters or shooting 83 at Bay Hill due to allergies.

Then there are the days when Watson lands in L.A., decides to show up unannounced at a random Golfsmith store, and challenge store employees and customers to putting and driving contests. This is what happened in his latest episode of the "Bubba Watson Show." Read More

    Out Of Bounds

Peyton Manning's season may have ended with a disappointing loss in the Super Bowl, but that doesn't seem to be keeping him from having a good time this offseason. First, he was playing in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and now, he's throwing footballs into passing NYC taxi cabs with David Letterman. Spoiler alert: Peyton Manning is still pretty good at throwing the football.
