The Odds: Justin Rose Tops Board for Zurich Classic

By The Linemakers 04/23/2014

  • The PGA Tour travels to the Big Easy for this week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The 156-man field tees off Thursday at the TPC Louisiana in Avondale, LA.

Justin Rose leads the pack as the 12-to-1 favorite at the LVH SuperBook.

Rose last teed off at the Masters, finishing 14th with a score of 1-over par. He's claimed a pair of top 10 finishes on the season, grabbing eighth at the Valspar Championship and fifth at the WGC-HSBC Champions.

Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler and Graham DeLaet are next on the board, each at odds of 20-to-1. Fowler has been playing good golf of late, finishing sixth at the Shell Houston Open and fifth at the Masters.

The Linemakers on Sporting News' Brian Blessing has his eye on a bigger price, offering up Patrick Reed at 30-to-1. "Reed could bounce back from a disappointing Masters (where he missed the cut)," Blessing says. "Nerves and emotions got the better of him at Augusta, but he's poised for a solid showing this week."

Blessing also has a few live longshots on his radar: Daniel Summerhays (80-to-1) and Retief Goosen (100-to-1)
