VP of Digital Sales

Seeking VP of Digital Sales to own the execution of all custom sales and sponsorship integrations across Back9Network.com and via outbound digital sales assets. The VP will own the end-to-end process between the sales team and graphics and production teams, ensuring the successful development and execution of all in-program added value features and programming. A qualified candidate should have experience working in integrated sales, either in television digital production and/or marketing, and have a passion for branded content as well as creative integrated advertising platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creative development process for all sponsored graphics, including owning the relationship with the external agencies for review and approval of assets
  • Develop unique and custom integrated solutions for sponsors and advertisers based on specific client objectives, working collaboratively with sales and marketing to generate new revenue opportunities in support of achieving fiscal sales goals

Public Relations/Social Media Director

Core Responsibilities:

  • The focus of the role is to lead & develop a pro-active strategies and plan consumer PR across our channel brands supporting the overall marketing objectives.

Digital Ad Operations, Manager

The Ad Ops Manager will be responsible for all aspects of digital ad campaign management and problem solving. The ideal candidate has proven experience with ad trafficking, reporting, and creative troubleshooting.

Traffic Coordinator

The Traffic Coordinator assumes responsibility for the accuracy of spot placement and separation of the log, and front loads each week in an effort to maximize the inventory and ensure inventory is not left unsold. Monitors and notifies appropriate management of inventories that becomes available at the last minute or oversold. Evaluates and takes action on the inventory two or more weeks into the future to ensure the time required to publish each log is minimum. Assists other Commercial Operations personnel when necessary, and works with other departments as required.

Responsible for supporting the clearance of inventory for client purchases of available advertising. This would include maintenance and quality control on data processed through the software systems with an ultimate goal of optimizing inventory and revenue.

UX/Design Manager

Job Description:

The UX/Design manager will be the overall team lead for the entire end-to-end, user-facing presentation layer of the Back9Network brand across multiple digital outlets, including Web and mobile. The person in this role will report directly to the SVP, Digital and provide the full gamut of deliverables necessary to craft the proper user flow, from information architecture and wireframes through mood boards and final, production-level visual design assets.

Key Activities:

  • Collaborate with product and business owners on setting overall design direction and serve as the primary, foremost advocate for our fans
  • Lead the charge to create and own the ongoing maintenance of the digital style guide to govern all digital media design, collaborating with colleagues on the linear broadcast team to ensure consistency of brand
  • Craft information architecture articulations (e.g., OmniGraffle) to represent proper, effective user-facing structures
  • Create wireframes based on product, project, and business needs to guide product development
  • Generate visual design through multiple iterations, from high-fidelity drafts all the way through final, pixel-perfect production assets, to enable the creation of product experiences
  • Work with software developers to iterate through builds of new user experiences, taking in feedback and providing solutions
  • Conduct or lead contextual and usability research to hone user requirements, analyze/recommend experience design, and oversee execution of those requirements
  • Act as the team expert on emerging presentation layer experiences across mobile and Web
  • Lead client meetings to present and review proposed UI strategy at both a strategic and granular, implementation level

Senior Producer

The Senior Producer will be responsible for executing the production process from building the rundown to air, getting shows done on a daily basis, leading the studio team in the execution of daily sports programing and working with the senior production staff, talent and studio colleagues within the networks vision and planning of the daily studio productions. Additionally the person in this role will be responsible for the execution of long form original episodic programming from inception to air. He/she will work with staff to develop daily as well as long term coverage plans and assigning stories to reporters. Oversee production of final reports and making decisions related to sports content, including reviewing the work of others will also be responsible to work with staff with regard to logistics and satellite coordination. Will help post-produce special sports programming and will likely work a flexible schedule including Saturdays, Sundays, nights and weekends.

This role is primarily a development-focused one, but a high level of user interface design and visual design acumen is a huge plus.

Back9Network’s Digital Content Division is currently looking for highly enthusiastic, motivated and qualified interns to help create, produce, program and edit material for the company’s flagship web destination, Back9Network.com. Internships are currently available for the Fall and Winter. Internships are for credits only.

Responsibilities:

      • Previous sports journalism experience preferred with strong writing and editing skills.
      • Assist with the maintaining of content on Back9Network.com and all social platforms.
      • Write, edit and format copy for online publication.
      • Monitor trending topics and be able to identify subjects that our audience and content partners would be interested in.
      • Work with partners to acquire and produce content.
      • Familiarity with WordPress or any other online content platform, Photoshop and Microsoft Office a plus.
      • Show creativity in developing ideas and assisting in coverage of golf, golf lifestyle, entertainment and more.

Requirements:

      • Junior or Senior standing
      • An interest in and knowledge of golf and the golf lifestyle.
      • Bright, energetic, ambitious, motivated, self-directed individuals looking to learn in a fast-paced environment.
      • Be organized, detail oriented, and ability to multitask.
      • Strong writing and grammar skills.
      • Be a team player who’s willing to adapt to change.
      • A positive attitude.
      • Minimum GPA of 2.8 or greater
